As an art teacher for just over 4 years, and a freelance designer for many more, Amy of Armstrong Designs has always been a creative person but with ambition to do more. Whilst planning her wedding, she knew she wanted to create their details such as stationery and signage. Being able to design something so meaningful and representative was a wonderful experience, and in doing so, discovered the creative output she had been looking for. So, with a bit of encouragement from friends and family, and a push in the right direction from some amazing wedding suppliers, Armstrong Designs was born.
Armstrong Designs focuses on creating bespoke wedding and paper creations which aim to represent each couple in their own unique way. She loves to work with watercolours and create digital drawings to bring together designs that compliment a couples big day. From complex paintings to simplistic typography statements, each design is handmade to suit the couples style, no matter what it may be. This is where Amy gets her inspiration from, her clients. It's not about following the latest trends or trying to copy someone else's style, for her, it's about creating something inspiring that couples look back on in 10 years time and still say ‘wow’! With a few different packages to choose from, all your stationery needs are covered for your big day. All you have to do is share your ideas and she’ll do the rest!
