FOUNDER AND CREATIVE DIRECTOR
She is former assistant editor of interior design magazine idfx and still writes for publications such as Architectural Digest and Grand Designs. She also works on branding and PR and has styled campaigns for a number of clients from Saatchi & Saatchi to Rock n Roll Bride to EE Jewellery and also heads up this part of Most Curious too. Her passion to find and create innovation in the wedding industry and to bring you a show that both inspires to the max but makes you feel like you've come home, is verging on unhealthy. But she's ok with that. She lives in Walthamstow with her husband, daughter, son and houseplants and is on a constant quest to find the perfect Malaysian Street Food.
HEAD OF PRODUCTION AND EXHIBITOR LIAISON
Cat Brennan is our true 90s raver, a lover of grunge and indie from the very beginning, most at home in her DMs and her arms in the air at a Primal Scream concert. A free spirit but also kind of a geek at heart, Cat has never done anything the traditional way. With a background in social sciences and accounts, Cat can appreciate the beauty of a well laid out spreadsheet but her love of people and making them happy is where her heart truly lies. A huge fan of festivals and the sense of community they create, she aims to bring the same feeling of togetherness, support and yoga-practicing hippy tendencies to all Most Curious events.
EVENT AND PR ASSISTANT
This Yorkshire lass and full blown, bona fide millennial recently finished a degree in Philosophy at King's College London, in the city she fell in love, before finding her nigh-on religious calling into the world of bridal. As well as being our bounciest and glitteriest member she is now the powerhouse behind her own start up The Wedding Enthusiast, providing all-hands-on-deck support to both couples planning their weddings and small businesses making those weddings happen. Since Most Curious ’18, she’s also set up The Enthusiast, to celebrate the joy that is people being bloody passionate about things. Other than weddings, she enjoys a candy floss sunset, the colour yellow, unbaked banana bread, trying to do all the bits in Lady Marmalade and a good pair of trainers. Find her at the fair running around with excitement like that Jonah Hill gif.
PRODUCTION AND STYLING ASSISTANT
Ann-Marie reps the cool East London designer part of the team. After her degree in Constructed Textile Design in Dundee, she moved to London to study millinery. She has since gone on to found both AM Faulkner - with millinery collections stocked from New York to Tokyo - and online concept store for fashion-forward brides Florence & Dot. She lives in Leyton with her husband, their two year old son, their dog and a very badly behaved cat. When she’s not designing and ensuring we run and style the show with optimum effect for our makers and couples, she can be found cycling through Hackney Marshes pretending she lives in the countryside.
NORWICH SHOW ORGANISER
With a background in high street fashion design, from catwalk and street-style trend spotting or working with the latest Pantone Colours, it was here Penny's creative eye was born. She's taken her passion for what's hot into the wedding world and is the girl-boss behind The Little Lending Company, She’s also freelanced as a wedding planner and co-ordinator so knows how to make all the elements of events run together in a smooth and stylish manner! When not riding around with a van load of Bohemian props or heading up Most Curious Norwich, you'll find her trawling the markets for more treasure or walking the coast with chips and her little baby, Della Joanie.
NORWICH SHOW EVENT ASSISTANT
Bonafide crazy cat lady, iced coffee drinker, monochrome wearer, Laura studied Print Design in Birmingham before heading to London where she worked in Visual merchandising for John Lewis. Now living in Norwich, she uses her obsession for interior aesthetic to assist Penny on our show and also on The Little Lending Co wedding set ups while also putting her degree to work on various freelance print projects for local companies. When not hours deep in Photoshop or up a wobbly ladder hanging foliage, Laura can be found buying too many lipsticks and posing for her blog Rose and Weston in random car parks.
