We are SO excited about today's blog post and the exhibitor we're introducing - prepare yourself to swoon, BIG STYLE. Whether you log into Instagram once a week, or you're a checking-in-hourly kind of gal (definitely the latter - and not ashamed), you'll have seen this gorgeous lady's designs plastered everywhere, as her brand new Shooting Stars collection has grabbed the hearts of everyone with eyes.

We are, of course, introducing serial Most Curious exhibitor and creator of stunning wedding wonder, Tilly Thomas Lux.

Tell us a little about Tilly Thomas Lux.

I started my brand 'Tilly Thomas Lux' in early 2015 named after my Grandma Thomas who was always wearing something beautiful in her hair. Having over 10 years experience designing and making jewellery for global brands, I decided to focus on my passion for making luxury bespoke bridal headpieces, which is something I had always dreamed of. I wanted to create a brand with a friendly approach to bespoke design and a really enjoyable process of creating pieces for brides to be treasured forever. I truly am passionate about what I do and I definitely think this shows in my work! Alongside the bespoke service, we also have ready to wear collections Goddess, Celestial Flight & recently Shooting Stars. All of them are handmade in London using only the finest stones and materials.

Why did you decide to set up your own business?

It had been a dream of mine for a very long time and finally it just seemed like the only thing to do. So I quit my full time job, which was the scariest thing ever, going from a salary to the world of self employment. Its been tough at times and very challenging but I have never looked back and Im so pleased I took the risk because being my own boss and creating such beautiful pieces everyday is a dream come true.

What do you think the most Curious couples will love about your work?

I think couples love Tilly Thomas Lux because its all hand made in London with no mass production and its a fun and creative process.

Who or what inspires you?

I'm obsessed with the Art Deco era; from architecture to interiors to jewellery.  I am also a huge fan of old films and old Hollywood glamour, especially the Ziegfeld Girls; the headpieces are incredible and a constant source of inspiration for me. I’ve always been fascinated by Greek mythology; divine goddesses and strong women. I’m personally very lucky to come from a line of strong Yorkshire women.

What's been the coolest/best moment of your career so far?

There have been so many amazing moments, from making crowns for Halfpenny London show at the Ritz and some beautiful photoshoots but my absolute favourite thing is when I see the resulting wedding photos, I experience such utter joy and feel unbelievably lucky to be able to do this as a job. I’m passionate about making brides feel fabulous and special and if I can be even a small part of that, it’s incredibly rewarding.

Who is your fave famous wedding from history and why?

Eeek there are so many, am I allowed more than one? I loved Poppy Delevingne  in the most beautiful floral dress in Marrakech; Solange Knowles in that incredible jumpsuit and cape; the old Hollywood glamour of Elizabeth Taylor with stunning flowers in her hair marrying Richard Burton; and not to mention Kate Middleton wearing beautiful crown and Alexander McQueen gown.
